Process of cold pressed oil involve following steps:
1. Selection of oil seeds: High-quality oil seeds, such as sesame, coconut, mustard, and others, are selected for oil extraction.
2. Cleaning and roasting: The oil seeds are cleaned to remove any dirt, dust, or foreign particles. Some oil seeds are roasted to enhance their flavor and aroma before extraction.
3. Grinding: The cleaned and roasted oil seeds are then ground into a paste to make them ready for extraction.
4. Pressing: The ground paste is then placed in a wooden or traditional oil press, also known as a "kolhu". The oil is then pressed out of the paste using a mechanical process that does not involve the use of chemicals, heat, or solvents.
5. Filtering: The extracted oil is then filtered to remove any residual particles from the oil seeds.
6. Storage: The final product, which is wooden cold-pressed oil, is then stored in airtight containers to preserve its freshness and prevent contamination.
The entire process of making wooden cold-pressed oil is done at a low temperature to retain the natural flavor, aroma, and nutrients of the oil seeds, making it a healthier and more natural option compared to other types of oils.
